Community Guidelines & Platform Conduct Policy
Last updated: December 2025
At Beyond (“we”, “us”, or “our”), our goal is to provide a professional, creative and safe environment where Makers and their Fans can build, publish, buy and enjoy digital “Mints” on the Makermint platform (“Makermint” or the “Platform”).
These Community Guidelines (the “Guidelines”) apply to all users of Makermint, including Makers, Customers, Subscribers, and visitors. They form part of the Makermint Terms of Service (“Terms”). Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms and the Makermint Wallet & Token Terms (“Wallet Terms”).
For U.S. Users, these Guidelines also incorporate requirements under U.S. federal and state law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), the FTC's rules against deceptive practices, and applicable consumer-protection statutes.
By using Makermint, you agree to comply with these Guidelines. Violations may result in actions including warnings, content removal, Wallet restrictions, suspension, or permanent account bans.
Core Principles
Respect for People – Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, hate, or personal attacks.
Integrity of the Platform – Use Makermint honestly. No scams, fraud, or manipulation of Wallets, Tokens or transactions.
Legal and Safe Content – Keep content lawful, non-exploitative and appropriate for an adult professional environment.
Transparency – Be honest about what your Mints do and what buyers can expect.
Responsibility – You are responsible for your content, your behaviour, and the impact of your Mints.
Respectful Behaviour
You must not:
Harass, bully, threaten, or stalk other Users.
Use hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Encourage self-harm, violence, or dangerous behaviour.
Doxx or publish another person's private or identifying information without their explicit consent.
Debate and feedback are welcome, but keep them professional and focused on ideas, not people.
Content Standards (Mints, Makerpages, and Communications)
- You are responsible for all content you create, upload, or share on Makermint, including:
- Mints (apps, games, interactive experiences, templates, etc.);
- Makerpages and profile information;
- Descriptions, screenshots, videos and promotional materials;
- Messages, comments, and support communications.
- You must not post, publish, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal in any jurisdiction where Makermint operates (for U.S. Users, this includes content violating U.S. federal law (e.g., DMCA, sanctions laws) or state consumer-protection laws (e.g., deceptive earnings claims or fraudulent representations));
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights of a third party;
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading (including misleading claims about earnings, “guaranteed” returns, or “get rich quick” schemes) (for U.S. Users, such claims constitute prohibited deceptive practices under the FTC Act and state unfair & deceptive acts and practices laws);
- Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or exploits minors, when such content involves minors;
- Contains excessive violence, gore, or content intended to shock;
- Includes malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
- Promotes terrorism, organised crime, or other criminal activity;
- Violates any other section of these Guidelines, the Terms, or the Wallet Terms.
- We may remove or restrict any content that we reasonably believe violates these standards.
Marketplace Integrity, Wallets & Tokens
Because Makermint includes Wallets, Tokens and Payouts, we apply strict standards to financial conduct.
- You must not:
- Use bots, scripts or automation to create fake traffic, purchases, or engagement;
- Engage in wash trading, circular transfers, or other activity designed to inflate sales or rankings artificially (for U.S. Users, Beyond may report suspicious financial activity to FinCEN where required, and may block transactions appearing to involve unlicensed money transmission);
- Use Makermint to move money between accounts without genuine underlying transactions;
- Encourage off-platform payments for Mints to avoid Makermint fees;
- Misuse chargebacks or refunds;
- Misrepresent prices or hide material conditions of sale.
- You also must not:
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or otherwise gain unauthorised access to Wallets or balances;
- Buy or sell Tokens, Wallet balances, or accounts outside the Platform;
- Share your login credentials or allow others to use your Account or Wallet.
- If your actions violate these Guidelines, are deemed harmful to the community or the integrity of the Platform, we may:
- Freeze, reverse, or refuse transactions;
- Suspend or close Wallets and Accounts;
- Report suspected criminal activity to law-enforcement;
- Adjust balances as described in the Wallet Terms.
Professional Standards for Makers
- As a Maker, you are expected to behave professionally. In particular, you must:
- Describe your Mints accurately, including limitations and requirements;
- Honour your commitments to Customers (for example, if a Mint description promises ongoing updates or support);
- Avoid overpromising or making unsupported claims, especially around earnings or business results;
- Provide clear, polite support through any support channels you offer;
- Respect other Makers — no smear campaigns, false reviews, or coordinated harassment.
- U.S. Users must comply with the FTC's Endorsement Guides when making statements about Mint performance, revenue, or other claims. Disclosures must be truthful, substantiated, and not misleading.
- We reserve the right to remove Mints, demote visibility, or suspend Makers who repeatedly fail to meet these standards.
User Interactions & Communications
Makermint may provide messaging tools, comment areas, or other ways for Makers and Customers to communicate.
- You must not:
- Spam other Users with promotional messages, links, or repeated requests;
- Solicit Users to leave the Platform to complete payments;
- Send phishing messages or attempt to obtain other Users' credentials;
- Use Makermint communications for unrelated or illegal purposes (e.g., promoting unrelated products, hate organisations, or scams).
- For U.S. Users, commercial messages must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, to the extent applicable, as well as any applicable state email-marketing laws.
- We may monitor communications to the extent permitted by law for moderation, security, and support purposes.
Reporting & Enforcement
If you encounter content or behaviour that you believe violates these Guidelines:
Use any in-platform reporting tools; or
Contact us via the support details listed in the Terms.
- Our enforcement options include, without limitation:
- Informal warnings or education;
- Content removal or editing;
- Temporary or permanent restrictions on features (including Wallet and Payout restrictions);
- Account suspension or termination;
- Notification to payment partners or authorities where required.
- Beyond may also enforce DMCA complaints, FTC deceptive-advertising rules, and U.S. financial-crime compliance measures for U.S. Users.
- We will determine appropriate action at our reasonable discretion, taking into account context, severity, and prior conduct.
Changes to These Guidelines
We may amend these Guidelines from time to time in accordance with Section 14 of the Terms. If you continue to use Makermint after changes take effect, you are deemed to have accepted the updated Guidelines. If you do not agree, you must stop using Makermint and, if applicable, close your Account.
